They Rescued Baby Opossums, But The Moment They Brought The Fruits…OMG!

With the modern road systems, opossums are at some of the highest risks for accidental death while crossing roads.
The problem is horrible, and effects animals of all sizes and types, but the more humanity pushes in to the wild places, the more these animals are at risk of being the victim of human interaction. There is a few things we can do to prevent this, but one shelter is trying to do what it can to help with some of the forgotten victims is all of this: the babies whose mothers are killed on the roads.
Seeing a dead opossum on the side of the road is a common enough occasion in almost all areas where possums are found. But we forget about the babies that may lay just on the other side of the road.
So when a group of orphaned opossums was brought to a local shelter, they decided to do what they could to help these motherless children get healthy and big enough to go into the wild on their own.
